Guess the Disorder Numbers - Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility to Enter:
1.1 The competition is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
1.2 Employees of Faction Labs International (ABN 55 609 772 090), their immediate families and any associated agencies or partners are ineligible to participate.
1.3 By entering this competition, participants confirm their eligibility and consent to the use of their details as outlined in these terms and conditions.
2. Entry Mechanics:
2.1 Participants may submit up to two (2) entries per day.
2.2 The competition is free to enter and each participant is allowed only one correct entry for consideration in the prize draw.
2.3 Entries must be submitted via the designated platform(s) specified by Faction Labs International.
2.4 To be deemed a valid submission, all answers must be accurate within a single submission. If an individual provides all correct answers but does so across multiple submissions, these answers will not be aggregated to constitute a single valid submission.
3. Prize Details:
3.1 The initial prize is $10,000 AUD. If no correct answer is received by the draw dates, the prize will increase according to the following schedule:
July 12, 2024: $10,000 AUD
July 19, 2024: $12,500 AUD
August 1, 2024: $15,000 AUD
September 1, 2024: $17,500 AUD
October 1, 2024: $20,000 AUD
November 1, 2024: $22,500 AUD
December 1, 2024: $25,000 AUD
December 31, 2024: Final draw if the prize remains unclaimed.
3.2 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternatives will be provided except as determined by Faction Labs International.
3.3 Faction Labs International reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value if necessary.
3.4 Alternate Prize Distribution: If no participant correctly guesses all the answers by the final draw date of December 31, 2024, the $10,000 AUD prize may be awarded to the participant(s) who have guessed the most correct answers. If multiple participants have guessed the same number of correct answers, the prize will be equally distributed among them. For example, if five participants each guessed 18 out of 20 correct answers, each will receive $2,000 AUD. The decision regarding the alternate prize distribution will be at the sole discretion of Faction Labs International and will be final.
4. Winner Selection and Notification:
4.1 The winner will be selected at random from all correct entries received.
4.2 The winner will be notified via email, phone and/or social media within 14 days of the draw.
4.3 The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize and verify their identity within 21 days of notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize and Faction Labs International reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
4.4 The prize will be transferred to the winner's nominated bank account in Australia or New Zealand within 14 days of prize acceptance.
5. Publicity and Privacy:
5.1 By entering this competition, participants agree that their personal information will be used by Faction Labs International for the purposes of administering the competition.
5.2 The winner agrees to the publication of their first name, social handle, suburb, state and country on Faction Labs International's website and social media channels.
5.3 Participants’ information will be handled in accordance with Faction Labs International's Privacy Policy.
6. General Terms:
6.1 Faction Labs International reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms and conditions or is found to have engaged in fraudulent activity.
6.2 Faction Labs International is not responsible for any loss, damage or disappointment suffered by any participant in relation to this competition or the prize.
6.3 Faction Labs International reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical issues.
6.4 This competition is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
7. Intellectual Property:
7.1 All intellectual property rights related to this competition, including the competition design, content and any submissions, remain the property of Faction Labs International.
7.2 Participants agree that their submissions may be used by Faction Labs International for promotional and marketing purposes without further consent or compensation.
8. Liability Limitation:
8.1 Faction Labs International will not be held liable for any delay or failure in performing any of its obligations under these terms and conditions if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics or significant technical failures).
9. Technical Issues:
9.1 Faction Labs International is not responsible for any technical issues that may prevent participants from entering the competition or that affect the selection of a winner, including but not limited to server outages, entry submission errors or other technical malfunctions.
10. Participant Responsibilities:
10.1 Participants are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide during the entry process is accurate and truthful. Faction Labs International reserves the right to disqualify any participant who provides false or misleading information.
10.2 In the event that a winner is unable to claim the prize due to factors beyond their control, Faction Labs International may, at its discretion, appoint a proxy or extend the deadline for prize redemption.
